There are a range of administration features available in Sparks. Some of these may be configured by HT2 Labs prior as part of the setup process, however most of them will need some thought and attention by yourself.
These Administration settings can be viewed by clicking on the hamburger menu icon in the top left corner of your Sparks site and selecting 'Administration'.
You will now be able to navigate to the different Administration settings as described below.
Company name (required) - The name of your Organisation.
Company URL (required) - The URL of your Organisation.
Service name - The name you would like to give yourSparks site.
Organisation type - The type of Organisation you are. This is a high level choice from a dropdown menu.
Timezone - The prevalent timezone of your organisation.
Email "from" address - Providing a 'recognised' email address here will make your emails appear less 'spammy'.
Email footer / disclaimer (required) - Useful for explaining to recipients the general purpose of these emails. Be mindful of being too specific about any courses, programmes etc if you are using Sparks for more than one initiative.
Logo/banner selection - The opportunity to select between a logo (recommended) or a banner as well as upload the image file.
A list of currently available integrations. Clicking on each integration option will provide a list of required fields/actions to complete that integration. On many occasions, we here are HT2 Labs will have completed that integration on your behalf as part of the initial setup.
An important step in making Sparks as effective as possible for your organisation is gaining feedback on the messaging you send out from the recipients themselves.
By selecting 'Feedback on' your emails will include a very simple Yes/No question at the bottom of the email:
This has purposefully been kept simple in order to increase the likelihood of feedback being provided.
If a user answers the question, they are taken to a landing page where they can add a written comment and answer two secondary questions (as shown in the screenshot below) if they wish to do so.
An insight into the recipient's responses provided can be found in the Analytics section of Sparks.
A list of everybody with Admin access to Sparks, along with the ability to delete or create new Administrators.
Further details on creating Persona labels can be found in this Persona-specific article.
This feature allows you to create custom phrases that can be added to outgoing emails.
These phrases form a library which can be selected from when crafting your outgoing emails.
If you have chosen to sync your Sparks site with your Curatr site then the list of courses that are sync'd will appear in this list. If your course has been sync'd and / or is being used for Triggers then each course can be expanded to see the levels within that course, otherwise it will simply display the title. Courses can also be deleted (this will not delete them in Curatr) as well updated via the 'update' button at the bottom of the screen.
An area for you to review the financial/billing aspects of your account.
A record of usage across your entire site.
