Weekly digest emails are now available for Develop. This is an email that is sent once a week, on Monday, to remind users of their ongoing and completed goals, and is the core notification function for Develop.
Services > Develop
To turn on this functionality as an Admin, check the Digest Emails checkbox.
View Your Profile > Summary > Edit
Learners are opted in to receive their weekly digest by default once their organisation has enabled this functionality. However, they can opt out of this (and other communications) from their profile by unchecking the Email me a weekly Digest checkbox.
The digest email appears in theme colours with your organisation logo (shown in the screenshot below) and will notify you:
- When you have an overdue Learning Experience.
- If you have Learning Experience due within a week.
- Have a completed Learning Experience that is missing a reflection.
- When you complete a Focus Area.
Focus Area Colours/Images
You can now choose to set images or colours for your custom Focus Areas in Develop side. Focus Areas will use the organisation theme colour by default.
You can choose to use:
- Your theme colours (By default)
- Images from our image library.
- Your own images via URL link.
- Any colour using the colour picker.
Admin > Focus Areas > Add/Edit Focus Area
When using this feature you will see it reflected with a set of radio buttons when you create or edit a focus area, as show in the screenshot below:
There is now a new course view in Curatr called ‘Playlist’, that displays all of a courses levels and objects on one page. The new view is presented in a simple style that omits any banners or level/object images and improves readability.
Admin Area > Courses > Your Course > Settings > Levels
This view may suit you better, especially if you are including your Courses as Learning Experiences on the Develop side and want to shorten the journey into a level/object for the Learner.
Object Completion via xAPI
It is now possible to ‘complete’ an activity in Curatr via xAPI statement forwarding.
Powered by Learning Locker, this powerful new feature will be useful for those organisation who rely on content outside of Curatr as part of their Courses and require consistent reporting.
If you would like more information about this feature, please check our Help Centre article.
