An Experience is typically a collection of Events that relate to one another.
Creating a Learning Experience
In order to create an Experience you should click on:
- + Add Experience
- Edit fields as necessary
The screenshot below shows an example of an Experience relating to a Massive Open Online Course that we designed and facilitated. This Learning Experience contained all of the Events relating to that specific MOOC.
Whilst most of the above fields are self-explanatory, the following may be worth some additional context:
Archive date - On this date all Events contained within this Experience will stop functioning. Think of it as a Master Switch.
Tags - tagging your Experiences will allow you, at a later stage, when you could have 100s of Events / Experiences and you want to run reports
e.g. "Report on all events tagged 'onboarding'"
Editing a Learning Experience
After creating and saving your Learning Experience you can edit it by clicking on the:
- Specific event in the events list
- 'Edit experience' button.
