Curatr Develop is a personal learning tool built to help plan and track your own self-driven continued professional development. Using Curatr Develop, you will be able to design tailor made learning plans that work to your strengths to help maximise your progress.
With the use of our simple, yet powerful structure, you can set up areas you want to improve in, referred to as Focus Areas, and within those areas you can then set yourself smaller tasks, known as Learning Experiences, to achieve those Focus Areas.
Tip: Develop is not enabled on organisations by default. It can be enabled in the Admin Area under Services, view our article here for more details.
Focus Areas and Learning Experiences
There are two core aspects to Develop:
- Focus Areas, the highest level of the learning plan.
- Learning Experiences, the actions users take to complete the Focus Areas.
In Develop, users create Focus Area and set Learning Experiences for things you think you need to do to be able to improve such as read a book on a relevant topic, or perhaps speak to an expert of the field to are trying to learn.
In the Admin Area, admins can customise the list of Focus Areas that users get to pick from. In the admin view, they can assign them with relevant Learning Experiences for users to complete. Additionally, Learning Experiences can be tagged so that users can be recommended a Learning Experience to include in their Focus Area based on matching tags that have been added to the Focus Areas.
Reports track a full history of progress and allow feedback by both the user and tutors.
From Develop users can see a list of all of their Focus Areas both Active and Archived, as well as how many of the Learning Experiences in a Focus Area they have completed. Users can filter their Focus Areas by date to track the progress they made during a specific time frame.
Focus Areas can be expanded to view all of the Learning Experiences inside, as well as the reflections user's have made on completed Learning Experience.
Admins can write and submit reviews on an individual users progress. These reviews can be viewed by the user on their Reports page, and by the admin from that users admin report page.
