'Personalised Learning' is something of a buzz-word in the L&D Industry at the moment, however 99% of the time the phrase is a misnomer.
In this article we're not looking at 'personalised learning' as such, but at how you can use Curatr to create a more personalised experience for the end user.
- Use the data from your Leaderboard report and/or your Engagement Dashboards to targeting a different type of email to non-starters, slow starters and flyers.
- Write Discussion Point Questions that are 'inclusive' in nature thus providing an opportunity for everybody to reply.
- Write DPQs that encourage user to reflect upon and relate to their own specific context/use case/challenges.
- Provide 'in course' feedback tools (such as a SurveyMonkey survey or Google Form) to allow iterative feedback to be given by users at every stage of the course.
- Enter and email address in the 'Email Options' field to allow people to directly respond to the facilitator, negating the "donotreply" default address.
- Provide multi-track courses (via the branching course type) to allow participants to pick the track closest to their use case i.e. Strategic Track or Technical Track or Both!
- Provide a non-linear course to allow people to select their own route through it based on their own preferences and priorities.
- Remove any date locks in a linear course to allow progression at their own pace, whilst maintaining the ordered structure of a linear course.
- Allow people to unenrol themselves if the course isn't working out for them.
- Seek feedback from participants on what their challenges are during the early stages of a course and then (using date locks) build out some levels/content to help with those challenges in the later stages of the course.
