Resources can be added to the Resources module in the following ways:
- User Generated
- Uploading documents
- Auto-curated content via integrations with external providers
User Generated Resources
To add a resource as a user, click the + button in the top left corner of the UI and:
- Add the URL that links to your resource
- Choose from existing tags (if you start typing, these will auto populate) to categorise your resource
- Add a new relevant tag (or set of tags) to help other users find the resource.
Admins can also add resources in this way, to populate the platform with content for users.
Note: In Red Panda, you are only permitted to use Letters (A-Z) and Numbers (0-9) in a tag. Special Characters (e.g. '@', '_', '%', '&') and Spaces are not allowed, and will result in the tag being removed (however if you only use spaces, Red Panda will remove the spaces for you and add the tag without them.)
Depending on your license, we have the ability to auto-curate content utilising the Anders Pink integration.
Interacting with Resources
Resources can be used to access relevant useful content to support your learning, in conjunction with other learning activities.
Users can comment on resources they have found useful, or perhaps not so useful and engage in conversations with other users. Users can also bookmark a resource, to save it as something to look back at, or perhaps check-in as evidence of learning within a Journey.
Users can also link any resources they want to specific goals within Journeys they are in the midst of, directly from the resources page.
