The Query Builder (also called Statement Explorer), is a tool that enables you to explore statements across your stores, and easily build complex queries.
There are three buttons near the top-right of the Query Builder:
allows you to refresh the returned statements. If you are using the main Query Builder on the Source page, the returned queries are displayed on the right-hand side of the screen.
allows you to clear all of the filters you have defined – reset the query.
& let you toggle between the edit modes, and see the normal builder, or the raw xAPI version of your built query. If you’re comfortable with xAPI, you may find this useful.
The three other buttons underneath those, are as follows:
is the Update Saved Query button. If the query you currently have active in the Query Builder and the one displayed in the Saved Queries selection box are different, then this button will become available. Pressing it will overwrite the currently selected Saved Query with the currently active query you have built or changed.
is the Load Saved Query button. Pressing this button will overwrite the currently active query with the currently selected Saved Query.
is the Merge Saved Query button. This button allows you to merge multiple queries together, you can merge two Saved Queries together by loading in one Saved Query Preset, and then selecting another from the drop-down, and pressing this button. The two queries will be merged and run.
